Thief River Falls - Martin Brendemuehl, 87, died Wednesday, May 26, 1999 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls.
A graveside gathering for family and friends was held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 29 at St. John's Church Cemetery in Easton, WI. The Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls was in charge of the arrangements.
Martin Brendemuehl was born on December 29, 1911 to William and Albertina (Heise) Brendemuehl in Easton, WI on the family farm where he grew up.
Martin worked for the city and county park department in Wausau, WI until he retired at the age of 62. In 1987, Martin moved to Thief River Falls and had resided at Valley Home since 1997.
He enjoyed the outdoors and walking.
Martin is survived by one sister, Leona Bobrowski of Thief River Falls, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Clarence, William and Elgart; one sister, Adelia Brendemuehl; and one niece. A00003B1999JN02
