Robert A. Bren, 83

ÝÝÝ Tabor - Robert A. Bren, 83, of Tabor,  died on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.

  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, at the Angus Presbyterian Church in Angus. Interment was held at Tabor Presbyterian Cemetery in Tabor.

ÝÝÝRobert was born on August 23, 1920 on a farm near Tabor, the son of Albin and Rosalie (Kurtz) Bren. Robert belonged to the Angus ñ Tabor Presbyterian Church where he was a Sunday school superintendent for many years, a church elder and treasurer for many years. Robert was a master electrician for 25 years working in the area. He began farming following his fatherís death when he was 17 years old and farmed the land for 65 years. 

ÝÝÝRobert married Lucille Johnson on September 23, 1945 in Warren. 

ÝÝÝHe is survived by his wife Lucille; a daughter, Linda Gustafson of Duluth; two sons, Richard (Patsy) Bren of Eagan, Steven (Ginnie) Bren of East Grand Forks; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
