Thief River Falls - Jackie Bredeson, 63, died Sunday, July 4, 1999 at her home in Thief River Falls.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 10 at Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls with Reverend Gary Johnson officiating. Music was provided by Grace Hammer. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Jaqueline Lee Olson was born on February 22, 1936 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of LeRoy "Bush" and Ruth (Schuster) Olson. She was baptized in the Catholic faith in Thief River Falls where she also attended school, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1953.
On May 28, 1955 Jackie was united in marriage to James Bredeson in Thief River Falls. She worked at Bredeson Cleaners for some time after their marriage, and the couple lived in Thief River Falls for eight years before moving to San Gabriel, CA in 1963.
In 1970, they returned to Minnesota and settled in Bloomington. Jackie worked at a Holiday Inn, a toy company, Nabisco and was manager of Cedar Courts Apartments in Bloomington. The couple returned to Thief River Falls in August of 1996. James died on March 12, 1999.
Jackie is survived by her step-mom, Donna Olson of Thief River Falls; one son, Michael James (Christina) Bredeson of Park Rapids; one granddaughter; one sister, Judy Bjorklund of Minneapolis; one brother, William "Billy" (Delores) Olson of Minneapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; father; mother; one sister, LaRay Trimborn; and two nephews, Blake Olson and Denny Bjorklund.
