Sylvia Bornholdt was born on May 3, 1922 in Park River, ND. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Quinlan, TX.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Chester W. Bornholdt; five daughters, Susan Crouch, Nancy Simmons, Emily Arbuckle, Mari Bornholdt Spears and Tammie Young; three sons, Jon Bornholdt, Michael Bornholdt and David Bornholdt; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Vera Hjelvik and Eddie Hodek.
