St. Paul - Alice Bernard, 77, died Monday, August 23, 1999 at her daughter's home in St. Paul.
Memorial services were held in St. Paul.
Alice Austinson was born on January 24, 1922, the daughter of August and Belle (Dahle) Austinson. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. She attended rural school and graduated from Lincoln High School.
On February 14, 1942 Alice was united in marriage to Stanley Bernard in St. Paul.
Survivors include one daughter, Mari Kay Bernard of St. Paul; three sons, James of WA, David of Mounds View, and Gary of Bend, OR; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, including Elaine Austinson of Thief River Falls; and several cousins.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Arnold Austinson and Arthur Lloyd Austinson; and one daughter in infancy. A00003B1999SP08
