Mayville, ND - Marian Berg, 68, died Saturday, May 15, 1999 at Union Hospital in Mayville, ND.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 20 at Finley Lutheran Church in Finley, ND. Interment will be in the Finley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday) May 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Finley and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
Marian Aamold was born on March 25, 1931 in Portland, ND, the daughter of Louis and Inga (Eken) Aamold. She grew up and attended school in the Mayville-Portland area.
She married Alan Johnson, and he died in 1971. On March 10, 1973 Marian married Loren Berg at Mayville, ND. The couple lived and farmed in the Finley, ND area until moving to Mayville in 1993. Loren died on February 15, 1999.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, flowers, gardening and doing crossword puzzles.
Marian is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Scott) Sheridan of Thief River Falls and Jennifer of Portland, ND; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ione (Milton) Tunseth of Oakes, ND and Donna (Charles) Wonser of McVille, ND; four brothers, Leonard of Mayville, ND, Duane (Lorna) of Grand Forks, ND, Luther (Laverne) of Mayville, ND and Roger (Beverly) of Bemidji; and many nieces and nephews.
