
Oklee - Rose Beaudoin, 88, died on Saturday, June 7, l997 at her home in Oklee.
Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, June 11 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee with Father Dennis Weiland officiating. Charity Wicks was the organist; Stanley Derosier the reader and Paul and Kevin Beaudoin the servers. Casketbearers were Elmer Hanson, Donald Derosier, Linus Derosier, Lewis Lallier, Kent Bergerson and Mike Boucher. Burial was in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Arrangements were with Petterson Funeral Home.
Visitation was at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 10 from 5 until 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation was also at the church one hour prior to the services today.
Rose Beaudoin was born October 21, l908 in Terrebonne the daughter of John and Elodia (Laundry) Perreault. She was baptized and confirmed at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Terrebonne. She attended rural school. On October 9, 1934, she was united in marriage to Paul Beaudoin in Terrebonne. They made their home near Oklee where they farmed. In l980, she moved into Oklee. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Rose is survived by one son, Ambrose (Susan) Beaudoin of Oklee; three grandsons; one brother, Noel "Robert" (Betty) Perreault of Albert Lea; four sisters, Mae Lallier of Red Lake Falls, Cecelia (Girard) Gingras of Lafayetteville, NC, Florence (Calvin) Moen of Baudette, and Sister Sylvia "Gabe" Perreault of Stillwater; one brother-in-law, August Klooz of Crookston; two sisters-in-law, Nettie Perreault of Red Lake Falls and Carol Perreault of Crookston; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; two infant children; her parents; three brothers, George, Omer and Wallace Perreault; and three sisters, Stella Derosier, Mona Klooz and Doris Derosier.
