Grand Rapids - Edna Barr, 69, died Wednesday, November 17, 1999.
Edna was the wife of former Viking resident Phillip "Torchie" Barr, a graduate of Newfolden High School. The couple had made their home in the Twin Cities and more recently had retired to Grand Rapids. Phillip Barr died in 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Mike (Caryn) Barr of Maple Grove and Tom (Diane) Barr of Zimmerman. Locally, she is survived by a sister-in-law, Pearl E. Johnson, and a brother-in-law, Charles C. Barr, both of Thief River Falls. A00003B1999DC01
