John W. Baker was a native of Thief River Falls and for a short time, worked for Cliff Bjorkman. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was employed by IBM for 27 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member SIRS, branch 141.
John is survived by his wife, Cleo of San Jose; one daughter, Lori; one son, Brian (Deborah) Baker; three grandchildren; and four sisters, Viola, Evangeline, Marcella and Mary Lou.
Funeral services for John Baker were held Monday, August 11 at Oak Hill Funeral Home's Chapel of Roses. Interment was at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
