 Aitkin - Thomas A. Kostick, 67, of Oak Grove and Aitkin, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012.Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Church of St. Stephen in Anoka. Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 21 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Cemetery east of Grygla. Thomas’ wife, Janet (Volstad), formerly resided in Grygla. He is survived by beloved wife of 46 years, Janet; children, Suzanne (Jim) Jaworski, Josef (Renee) Kostick; grandchildren, J.J., Jed, Jos, Josie and Kody; sisters-in-law, Marian, Olive (Tommy), Sharon (Arlen), Jacqueline Kostick; brother- in-law, Curtis Olstad Sr.; 18 nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Thomas was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Lucile; sisters, Shirley and Janet Kostick; brother, Richard; and nephew, Stephen. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred and will be directed to the Veteran's Administration. Arrangements were with Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel in Coon Rapids. A00003B2012JA25  |
