 Thornton, Colo. - Betty Jane C. (Bernstein) Iverson, 82, of Thornton, Colo., formerly of Gatzke, died Tuesday, Dec. 20 2011 in Denver, Colo. Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Welby, Colo. She is survived by her children, Russ (RoseEllen), SoAnn (Mark) Jenson, Mark (Linda); son in law, Stephen Engler; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia (the late Ray) Matero; brother, Harold (Raquel) Bernstein; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Maynerd; children, Merle A., Todd A., and Rosalyn A. Engler; and grandson, Matthew S. Engler.
