Ellsworth Milligan, 97
Seffner, Fla. - Ellsworth Milligan, (known to all of his friends as Penn Milligan) 97, of Seffner, Fla., formerly of Plummer, died on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at his and his daughter’s home in Florida under the care of hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plummer, with Rev. Jonathan Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at the Emardville Cemetery, rural Plummer.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Thursday.

Loren LaFayette, 85
Plummer - Loren LaFayette, 85, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 (today) at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plummer, with Rev. Jonathan Dodson officiating. Interment will be held at Emardville Cemetery, rural Plummer.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Elaine M. Anderson, 84
Mankato - Elaine Marian (Beske) Anderson, 84, of Mankato, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived locally by her daughter, Evonne (Kent) Broten of Warren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 12, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church in Mankato. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be held at Woodland Hills Memorial Park following the service.

David A. Browne, 22
Thief River Falls - David Alan Browne, 22, of Thief River Falls, died on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D., as the result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 9 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls.
