Brooklyn Center - Michael Scott Helle, 48, of Brooklyn Center, formerly of Thief River Falls, died peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Nov. 22 at United Methodist Church, Thief River Falls. Michael graduated from Lincoln High School Class of 1982. After graduating, he moved to the Twin Cities, where he worked in hardware sales. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his dog, Sonny. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Herb and Elizabeth Dill, John and Jane Helle; uncles, Ernie, Norman and Lester; Aunts, Laura, AnnaLou, and Jeannette Helle. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Daniel and Zoe Helle of Thief River Falls; brothers, Stephen (Dawn) Helle of Waconia, Chris (Linette) Helle of Waconia; nieces, Taylor, Ali and Ariana; many relatives and good friends.
