Dale Keith Graham was born on August 1, 1939 to Philip and Louise (Patterson) Graham at Carrollton, Illinois in a corn field. His parents were share croppers and they lived in several places, but grew up mostly in the Waukegan, Ill. area, where he was baptized and later married.
He served his country in the U.S. Army before he was married. He served in Germany and in Colorado.
On Nov. 15, 1958, Dale was united in marriage to Donna Marie Moe at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waukegan, Ill. In 1971, the couple moved to the family farm near Newfolden, where they continued to raise their family.  He was married to Donna for 50 years.  The majority of his working years he worked as a brick layer.  He was a proud member of the Bricklayer’s Union. He had a keen eye for laying bricks, which he was able to pass down to his son and grandson.
The loves of his life were his family. One of his goals was to teach the grandchildren how to fish. He had a marvelous sense of humor, teasing the grandchildren often. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the White Sox and just recently admitted to his family about being a Minnesota Twins Fan.  Grandpa Dale was also a huge  No. 1 fan of the Northern Freeze and will be remembered as the “Gator Aid Grandpa.”
Dale is survived by his children, Debbie (Jeff) Davidson of Newfolden, Denise “DeDe” Ness of Fargo, N.D., Diane Tiani of Newfolden, Greg Graham of Newfolden; grandchildren, Tera, Tad and Tori Davidson, Kyle (Lindsey) Ness, Kayla (Paul) Cichos, Tyler, Morgan, and Tatum Tiani, and Payton Graham; great-grandchildren, Ava and Major Ness and Lauren and Claire Cichos; brother Kenny Graham of Ontario, Wis.; sister-in-law, Marilyn “Sissy” (John) Salszeider of Iron River, Mich., and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Donna; his parents; infant son, David; brother Kenyon Graham; and sister, Phyllis Houston.
Memorials are suggested to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
