  Greenbush - Margaret Jeanette  Swenson, 70, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at the Greenbush  Community Nursing Home.
  Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 26, at Grace Evangelical Church of Strathcona, with Pastor Bob Ludwig officiating. Interment was held at Greenwood Cemetery in Strathcona.
  Margaret Jeannette Swenson, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Beatrice (Johnson) Olson was born on September 3, 1934 in Huss Township, Roseau County. She grew up and attended country school in the Strathcona area and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Following school she worked at the Rex Café and later worked on the Iron Range for a year before moving back to Strathcona.
 Johnny Lorenson and Margaret had a girl, Marjean and then on March 29, 1954 she was united in marriage to Ray Rybakowski in Middle River. She and Ray made their home and farmed northeast of Middle Rver. After 13 years of marriage, the two separated and then on August 5, 1968, she married Emil Alvin Swenson in Sisseton, S.D.
 In 1979 she and Alvin adopted a baby girl, Mary, and the two lived and farmed in Deer Township until Alvin’s death on November 20, 1991.
 Margaret moved into Royal Manor in Middle River in 1992 and later to CNC, Northwest Medical Center in Thief River River Falls in November 2002. She moved to the Greenbush Community Nursing Home earlier this month, where she died.
 Margaret is survived by four daughters: Marjean (Curtis) Wolff of Strathcona, Marlo Rae “Tiny” Hemp (companion Darrell Johnson) of Middle River, Jeanette “Ole” (Ed) Pulczinski of Greenbush, Mary (Kevin) McCrite of Middle River; one son, Raymond George Rybakowski of Middle River; two step-sons, James (Jancie) Swenson of Greenbush; and Tom Swenson of Minneapolis; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and many step-great grandchildren; two sisters, Olive (Ole) Wiskow of Goodridge, Sylvia (Richard) Sannes of Holt; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; three brothers, Verlin, Peter, and Harlan; one sister, Gloria Olson; and one granddaughter.  A00003B2004SP29
