East Grand Forks - Rebecca Ann Thibert, 2 month old daughter of Patrick and Heather Thibert unexpectedly died on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 26, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, with Reverend Gary Graff officiating. Casket bearers included Brett Piersol, Steve Thibert and Mike Thibert. Interment was held at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake Falls.
Rebecca Ann Thibert was born December 14, 2004 in Ann Arbor Mic., the daughter of Patrick and Heather (Piersol) Thibert. Rebecca was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome before birth and spent her first weeks of life in Michigan with her parents after having heart surgery at 3 days old.
After recovering from the surgery she arrived home on January 7. She was the most beautiful little girl that touched the lives of so many. She was constantly smiling, and loved to giggle for special people. She was an inspiration to everyone that knew her and will continue to touch many lives.

Rebecca is survived by her parents, Patrick and Heather Thibert of East Grand Forks; grandparents, Betty Thibert of Red Lake Falls and Bruce and Ann Piersol of Red Lake Falls; great-grandmother, Jennie Pierson of Lake Mills, Iowa: uncles, Brett and Mindy Piersol and children, Nicholas and Courtney; Mike and Kelly Thibert and children, Zach and Jordan; Steve and Jane Thibert and children, Samantha, Alex and Kyle and several great-aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Dwight Thibert and great-grandparents, Colonel Piersol, Dan and Thelma Johnson, Agnes and George Thibert and Warren and Beatta Woolery.
