Hawthorne, Wis. - Thelma O. Ellingson, 85, longtime resident of Superior, Wis., area resident and formerly of Thief River Falls, died on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hawthorne, Wis.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 14, at Downs-LeSage Funeral Home with Rev. William Wilson officiating. Interment was held at Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born on September 14, 1919, in Goodridge, to Ole and Tillie (Vraa) Bratlund.
Thelma graduated from high school and was secretary for Holmes Sheet Metal in Superior.
She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
She married Raymond Ellingson on June 21, 1941, in Thief River Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, on March 20, 2004; one son, Ricky Ellingson and three brothers.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Norma Nyberg of Superior, Wis.; one sister, Dorothy (Lewis) Quam of Goodridge; and several nieces and nephews.
