 Karlstad - Esther Roswell, 95, died on Friday, January 7, 2005 at the Karlstad Healthcare Center in Karlstad. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 10 at Collins Funeral Chapel in Karlstad, with Pastor Gary Halverson officiating. Esther Roswell, the daughter of the late John and Clara (Gabrielson) Roswell, was born on July 17, 1909, in Halma. She attended school and grew to womanhood there, and was baptized and confirmed at Eidsvold Lutheran Church there. Esther made her home on the family farm near Halma for many years. She later moved to the Vagle Boarding Home in Lake Bronson, and since September of 1975 had resided at the Karlstad Healthcare Center in Karlstad. She is survived by one sister: Evelyn Goetz, of Bronksville, N.Y., in addition to several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents. A00003B2005JA12  |
