Greenbush - Dorothy Kasprowicz, 79, of Greenbush, died on December 30, 2004 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, January 4 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Greenbush, with Pastor Jeyapaul officiating. Casket Bearers included O’Neil and Patrik Lund, Brian Undeberg, Paul, Eric, Andy and Greg Kasprowicz. Honorary casket bearers included her Senior Citizen friends from the Greenbush Community Center. Many of her relatives participated in the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was held at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery.
Dorothy Joan Kasprowicz was born April 5, 1925 in Leo, to parents Joseph and Lucy (Mooney) Chrzanowski.
Dorothy loved cooking for many people and making doughnuts. She was employed by the M & Q Café in Greenbush and the Greenbush Locker Plant. She retired from the Greenbush Nursing Home after cooking there for 26 years. In 2003 she retired after cooking LSS meals in Greenbush. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and the Greenbush Senior Citizens.
Dorothy is survived by 7 children: Allen of Moorhead, Kathy Kasprowicz of Blaine, Virginia (Oren) Lund of Greenbush, Tim (Sandy) of Chaska, Mike (Suzie) of Moorhead, Jennifer (Dennis) Blashill of Lake Bronson, and Jeanine (Bruce) Stromgren of Coon Rapids; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Genevieve (Felix) Gonshorowski of Greenbush and Carol (Ed) Kukowski of Newfolden; two sisters-in-law, Lois Chrzanowski of Badger and Helen Truscinski of Greenbush.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leonard Chrzanowski; and one grandchild.
