Bemidji - Billijack Daniel Boyer, 19, of Bemidji, died Monday, November 22, 2004.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, November 27 at Solway Lutheran Church, with Rev. Linda G. Tenneson officiating. Casket bearers were Tim Holmstrom, Matt Garland, Brent Mathson, Kyle Wikert, Jessie Phillips and Robert Cassidy. Interment was held at the Rosebud Cemetery in Thorhult.
He was born August 20, 1985 in New Ulm, the son of Charles and Wendy (Wikert) Boyer. He moved with his family to Becida as an infant. They then moved to Solway where he attended elementary school. He attended high school in Clearbrook. He was employed by American Engineer based in Minneapolis, working all over the country helping to build water treatment projects. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, playing cards and watching sports with his friends.
He is survived by his parents- Wendy (Dave) Ehlers of Leonard and Charles (Wendy) Boyer of Bemidji; brother, Hunter Ehlers of Leonard; stepsister, Monica Swanson of Bemidji; grandparents, Billy and Phyllis Wikert of Thorhult, Dorothy Boyer of Thief River Falls and Donna Ehlers of Leonard; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Boyer and Raymond Ehlers.
