 Thief River Falls - Gregory Donarski, 50, died on Sunday, November 14, 2004 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D. 
  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, with Father Tim McGee officiating at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls. Burial of his ashes will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Thief River Falls, at a later date. Honorary casket bearers include Stanley Lane, Wayne Hinden, Greg Cauppils, Jim Donarski and Gary Jordet.  
 Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. 
 Gregory Lynn Donarski was born December 30, 1953 in Thief River Falls, the son of Harry Martin and Norella Evelyn (Dahl) Donarski. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith.  He grew up and attended Northrup School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1971.
 He was married to Rebecca Radniecki for 7 years. He was also married to Linda (Ness) Donarski for 7 years.  To this union 3 children were born, Joe, Tom, and Kristina. 
 Gregory was united in marriage to Judy Joyce Dahl on July 27, 2001 at the Thief River Falls Court House. The couple made their home in Thief River Falls.  Gregory lived in Wyoming, Arizona, California, Washington and Minneapolis, but always considered Thief River  Falls home.  He worked as a fire fighter, carpenter, cab driver, and worked on the oil rigs in Wyoming. 
 Gregory liked to build things, including cabinets, sheds, and garages. He liked to have fun, drinking with the boys and watching sports, especially football and NASCAR. His life was his friends and family. His favorite time in life was fighting fires in Washington.
 Survivors include his wife, Judy of Thief River Falls; children, Joe Donarski of Brainerd,  Tom Donarski, Kristina Donarski; three stepchildren, Jason Stavenes, Loretta (Chad) Ledford and Perry Stavenes, all of Thief River Falls; mother, Norella “Dolly” Donarski of Thief River Falls; sister, Lynette (Stanley) Lane of Thief River Falls; brothers, Jerome (Collene) of Prior Lake and Dwight (Janelle) of Warroad.
 He was preceded in death by his father, Harry; and his grandparents Ed and Elsie Donarski.
