Badger - Douglas Michael St. Germain, 50, of Badger died on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at his home.
 Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 11 at the Collins Funeral Chapel of Greenbush, with Pastor Ken Hart Officiating. Military honors were provided by the Badger V.F.W. Interment was held at the Badger City Cemetery of Badger.
 Doug was born in Ft. Riley, Kan. on July 18, 1954 to Donn and Daphine (Johnson) St. Germain.  He grew up and attended school in Minneapolis up to the 10th grade where he then moved to Roseau and graduated from High school. 
 After graduation Doug enlisted in the Navy and served his country for 12 years. Following his discharge from the Navy Doug moved to San Francisco, Calif. and worked for 20/20 recycling for 20 years before moving back to Roseau County.  Doug had made his home in the Badger community for the past 2 years.
 Doug enjoyed woodworking, all outdoor activities, on-line gaming, and spending time with his family.
 He is survived by his mother Daphine and stepfather Jim Hanson of Grand Forks, N.D.
 Two sisters: Karen (Lyle) Dahlgren of Roseau and Becky (Scott) Waage of Greenbush
 Seven nieces and nephews: Ryan and Tennille Lisell, Scott Sandstrom, Tyler and Mallory Bergstrom, Walker and Tessa Waage; one great niece and nephew: Sofia and Lyle Lisell; along with many other relatives.
 He was preceded in death by his father; brother-in-law, Lyle Lisell and several aunts and uncles.
