 Argyle - Richard Arthur Riopelle of Argyle, died December 29, 2005, in Mesa, Ariz. 
 Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, January 6, at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Argyle. Honorary casket bearers included Kenneth Gruhot, Roger Pietruszewski, Phillip Schiller Jr., Art Hebert, Aime St. Germain, Donald Kathman, Kenneth Bergeron, Lyle Beaudry, Lindley Johnson and Gene Laurin. Active casket bearers included Earl Riopelle, Brent Riopelle, Jeff Fusco, Jaye Fusco, Joel Fusco and Glen Bergeron. Interment was held at St. Rose Cemetery in Argyle.
 Richard was born in Argyle, on November 23, 1928. He grew up in Argyle, met Margery Jean Karr and married November 20, 1952. After they married they went to Florida for the winter where Richard made orange juice for the Art Linkletter Show. They returned to Argyle to farm with his brother Leonard for 33 years. Richard worked for Dean Witcher Construction and Amercian Crystal Sugar in Drayton, N.D., for a few winters.
 During the winter months, he also hauled water to farmers until the county installed rural water. Farmed for 40 years, retired at age 62 and purchased a winter home in Mesa, Ariz. He also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, billiards, shaking dice - 654, golfing, playing cards and bowling. Richard was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
 Survivors include his wife of 53 years; his children, Kathy (Halil Ayylldiz) of Fridley, Patty (Mark) Olson of Thief River Falls, Debbie (Mark) Bjerke of Pelican Rapids, Gail (Kevin) Nadeau of Pine, Colo., and Larry (Peggy) Riopelle of Argyle; his 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, siblings Isabelle Swanson of Argyle, Leonard of Melbourne, Fla., and Jean Ann Landreville of Naples, Fla.
 Richard was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Belle; brother, Elfay and son Guy Louis.
