Batavia, Ill. - Hans V. Drotts, 96, of The Holmstad in Batavia, Ill., formerly of Viking, Thief River Falls and Buffalo, died on Sunday, November 20, 2005 at the Michealsen Health Center in Batavia.
Visistation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 25, at the Moss Family Funeral Home in Batavia. Graveside services will be held at the West Batavia Cemetery following the visitation hour. The Rev. Dan Anderson will officiate.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 25, at the Sanctuary Chapel of the Michealsen Health Center in Batavia, Ill.
He was born July 5, 1909 in Viking, the son of Oscar and Hilda Drotts. He was united in marriage to Carrie E. (Buck) Drotts on October 9, 1940 in Moorhead.
He is survived by three daughters, Rhoda (Al) Fritsch of Aurora, Ill., Ruby (Gary) Hovda of Rockford, Ill., and Lois Seashore of Maple Grove; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Drotts of Minneapolis; one brother, Raymond Drotts of Viking; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie; one son, Lester Drotts; two sisters, Hilma Drotts and Alma Drotts; and one brother, Albert Drotts.
