Shawano, Wis. - Linda Ardell Demaskie (Qualy) 54, died at her home in Shawano, Wis., on Oct. 13, at the age of 54.
Interment service will be held at First Lutheran Church Cemetery in Middle River on Saturday, November 5, beginning at 2 p.m.
Linda, the daughter of the late Gust and Esther Qualy, was born on October 16, 1950 in Thief River Falls. She was raised in Middle River and was baptized and confirmed at the First Lutheran Church in Middle River. She earned a secretarial degree from Aakers College in Grand Forks, N.D.
Linda was united in marriage to Daniel L. Demaskie on May 6, 1972 and together they raised three sons. Linda was always grateful to be blessed by being a stay at home mother while her children were growing up. She later worked at a bank and as an insurance analyst until she discovered her illness.
Her pride and joy was her family and grandchildren and happiest times were on weekends with her family.
Linda is survived by her husband, Daniel; sons, David (Kerry), Benjamin (Mel), Adam (Tami); brother, Sheldon (Diane) Qualey of Middle River; sisters, Marilyn (Robert) Lorenson of Middle River; Kathryn Hoehne of Neenah, Wis., Janet Logan of Middle River and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard; sister, Gayle; brother-in-law, Carlton Hoehne; one nephew and one great-niece.
