Sybil Radniecki, 90 Print E-mail

  Crosby - Sybil Radniecki, 90, died on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.
  Mass of Christian Burial was held on   Monday, September 13, at St. Francis Xavier Church in Oklee, with Father John Kleinwachter presiding. Casket bearers included Keith Radniecki, Tim Radniecki, Steven Radniecki, Tony Radniecki, Greg Radniecki and Mike Radniecki. Interment was held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery in Plummer.
  Sybil Inez Bremseth was born on January 28, 1914, in Petersburg, N.D., the daughter Gilbert and Bessie (Sample) Bremseth. There were 13 in the family. She was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith and attended school in Lambert and Oklee. Her family moved to California and Sybil stayed in North Dakota.
 Sybil was united in marriage to Stanley O. Radniecki in 1937. The couple made their home north of Oklee for many years, where she enjoyed being a housewife and raising their children. Sybil was very active helping on the family farm. Stanley died in 1973.  Following her husband’s death, Sybil did cake decorating and catering with her sister-in-law, LaVonne. Sybil moved to Brainerd, in 1980 She later moved into assisted living in Brainerd and then Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Home in Pine River.  She moved to Cuyuna Regional Care Center, Crosby, on February 5, 2004.
 Sybil was a member of the Valley Vagabond’s Band for 27 years, where she played the saxophone and sang. Sybil loved dancing, gardening and bowling.
  She was a member of St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee and also a past member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Plummer, where she had served on both of the churches  Ladies Aids. She was also a member of the Eagle’s and the St. Ann Society.
 Sybil is survived by two children: Stan (Joanne) Radniecki of Lake Shore, and Patrick (Beverly) Radniecki of Minneapolis; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother and several sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; her parents; brothers and sisters.
