Goodridge - Roger Wold, 35, died on Friday, October 14, 2005 at his home in Goodridge.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 19 (today), at 2 p.m. at Ekelund Lutheran Church in rural Goodridge, with Pastor Robert Dahlen and Pastor John Barkman, officiating. Casket bearers include Ray Jones, Paul Rindahl, Tony Moen, Jamey Gunderson, Chubby Feragen, Jimmy Smith, Tommie Quam, David Sjulestad and Danny Johnsrud. Interment will be held at the Reiner Cemetery, rural Goodridge. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Roger Daniel Wold was born on October 31, 1969 in Thief River Falls, to Gordon and Norma (Reel) Wold, the oldest of his twin brother Rodney. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls and attended school in Goodridge.
He worked for Danny Johnsrud farming for several years and also worked on the pipeline in 1996. Roger worked at Arctic Cat and farmed the home farm with his brothers.
Roger enjoyed hunting, driving around visiting friends, being at the farm with his brothers, playing with his nieces and nephews and he always had a hug for everyone. He was a member of The North American Hunting Club.
He is survived by his mother, Norma Wold of Goodridge; brothers and sisters, Sherry Woods of Grygla, Carol (Jason) Gust of Strathcona, Robert “Bobby” (special friend Laurel “Toots” Stine) Wold of Goodridge, Rodney (Faye) Wold of Goodridge, Connie (John) Stinar of Goodridge, Lori (Chris) Nelson of Red Lake Falls; 19 nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; uncles, Bernard Reel of Shelly, Vernon Tronnes of Shelly; Aunt Darlene Sumptner of Butte, Mont., and many cousins and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Gordon in 1989; brother, Larry Trontvedt in 1978, grandparents, along with several aunts and uncles.
