Alexandria - Patricia A. Loyland, 68, died on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at her home in Alexandria.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 24, at 1 p.m. at Petermeier’s Alexandria Funeral Care & Cremation Service in Alexandria.
Patricia was born on July 6, 1937 in Crookston, the daughter of Elmer and Erma (Chapman) Mosher. She wa a graduate of Goodridge High School in Goodridge.
After graduating Patricia moved to Thief River Falls, where she raised her four children. During this time she also worked for Arctic Cat Snowmobile Co.
On July 27, 1976, Pat was united in marriage to John Loyland. The couple resided in Thief River Falls, Starbuck and in 1990, they moved to Alexandria. While living in Alexandria, Pat worked for Days Inn and Holidy Inn.
Patricia enjoyed quilting and mad sure all of her family and friends had one of her quilts.
She is survived by her husband, John; four children, Julie (Mike) Holen of Barnesville, Marianne (Steve) Thorstad of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Susie (Dan) Lykken of Roseau, Danny Svean (Gloria) of Reno, Nev.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; very special family friends, Earl and Angie Marquis of Goodridge; brothers, Lloyd and Ben; and sisters, Jean, Jane and Judy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bill and Bob. A00003B2005SP28
