St. Hilaire - Carol Moschner, 66, died Saturday, July 23, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2005 (today) at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, with Rev. Terri Cuppett officiating. Burial will be at the Holt Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday (today) prior to the service at the funeral home. Family condolences may be sent to www.johnsonfuneralservice.com.
Carol Jean Rodahl was born on December 23, 1938 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Orris and Laurine (Bjerk) Rodahl. She was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith. Carol moved from St. Hilaire to St. Paul at an early age and attended school in St. Paul, graduating from Harding High School in St. Paul.
Following high school, Carol worked for the Minnesota Drivers License Bureau in St. Paul for many years and later as city clerk for the village of Woodbury. She moved to St. Hilaire in 1972. She was a longtime employee of the Thief River Falls School District, serving as secretary at elementary schools, including St. Hilaire, Knox, Northrop, Challenger and the Adult Learning Center, retiring in 1999.
Carol enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Carol is survived by three children, Sue (John) Couette of St. Paul, Sandy Mugaas of Red Lake Falls, Raymond (Lisa) Moschner of Warroad; seven grandchildren; one brother, Don (Joyce) Rodahl of River Falls, Wis., and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dale.
