Warren - Edward Jadeke, 78, of Warren, died on Thursday, July 14, 2005 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Warren. Interment was held at Calvary Cemetery in Warren.
Edward H. Jadeke was born on May 11, 1927 in Warren, the son of Herman and Rose (Schultz) Jadeke. He was a life long resident of Brislet Twp., rural Warren. On April 4, 1959, he was united in marriage to Marguerite Troska in Thief River Falls. They made their home in Brislet Twp. where they farmed.
Farming was Ed’s life, growing small grains and row crops and raising beef cattle but his real love was his family, especially his grandchildren.
Ed served in the Korean War and was a member of the Warren American Legion Post 27.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Marguerite; and children, Deanne (Brian) Pilon of Grafton, N.D., Debra (Michael) Forbes of Richmond, Va., David (Brenda) Jadeke and Denise (Jody) Gudvangen of Warren and Mary Jo (David) Cookman of Grand Forks, N.D. Also surviving are five grandchildren; sister, Martha Ostlund of East Grand Forks and brothers H. Willis Jadeke and Warren Jadeke, both of Warren; and a brother-in-law, Norman Thompson of Alvarado.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna Kay; sister, Evelyn Thompson and brother, Clarence (Tod) Jadeke.
