Sylvia T. Gregerson was born in Northern Minnesota in early 1930. She was the fifth of six children born to Hendrik Torval and Selma Berg Iverson. Sylvia’s early schooling was in Thief River Falls. She loved nursing.
After her marriage to Gene Hill, they moved from Grand Forks to Lewiston, Idaho and then Spokane, Washington. After 13 years and five children that marriage ended in divorce. However, the best was yet to come. In December of 1963, she married Grant E. Gregerson and added three more children to the mix, becoming a blended family of 10.
