  A. Elizabeth Danielson was born August 5, 1913, on the Danielson homestead in Roseau County. She was the youngest of five children born to Edward and Anna (Johannesson) Danielson who had immigrated to Minnesota from Sweden. When she was a child, the family spent a brief time in Washington State and then returned to Minnesota to Kittson County.
She graduated from Karlstad High School in 1929. She was not quite 16 years old. She was accepted to the Union Commercial College in Grand forks and then worked for awhile at the Kittson County Courthouse. Most of her adult life was spent taking care of her parents and running the farm with her brother, Fritz.
She was a lifetime member of the Karlstad Baptist Church, where she  served in a variety of capacities through the years. She was a student of nature and loved bird watching and weather-watching.  She kept annual records of both until just a few years before her death. She was a seamstress and also enjoyed crocheting. Though her home never had electricity, she had an avid interest in music, listening to the radio, then a battery-powered record player and finally cassette player. She loved everything from Bach to Willie Nelson.
Around the age of 70, she began taking pictures, mostly of nature.   After her parents died, she spent time with family in Charleston, S.C., and Seattle, Wash. She was pleased that she had been able to see both oceans and that she could add shells to her collections of natural things. Since October 2002, Elizabeth resided at the Karlstad Healthcare Center in Karlstad.
Survivors include a nephew and four nieces, John Malmberg of Cody, Wyo.; Mary Stone of Glenwood;  Ruth Morrison of Milford, Mass.; Lois Sabol of Union Gap, Wash..; and Sylvia Danielson of Seattle, Wash..; as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Ragnar, Jonathon, and Fritz, and sister: Naemie Malmberg.
