Glenwood - Gordon Alan Froseth, 88, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Glenwood.
Gordon Alan Froseth was born Jan. 5, 1925 to Perry and Annette (Mickelson) Froseth in Thief River Falls. He attended high school in Thief River Falls and graduated in 1942.
Gordon served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Beulah Huseth in 1950. They moved to Robbinsdale. They had a son, Mark, who died in infancy.
Gordon worked for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement. He loved collecting antique cars. After Beulah’s passing on March 10, 1980, he moved to Sauk Centre and developed many friendships there.
In 1998, he moved to Sunrise View Acres. Then, in 2007, he moved to the Belgrade Nursing Home until his passing.
Survivors include his brother, Perry Froseth Jr.; sister-in-laws, Arlene Froseth and Teresa Froseth; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Anette Froseth; son, Mark Froseth; wife, Beulah Froseth; brother Loyal Froseth; and sister, Delores Wengeler.
