    Greenbush - Marie Chrzanowski, 92, of Greenbush, died on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at in LifeCare Greenbush Manor at Greenbush.
    Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Greenbush, with Father Luis Buitron officiating. Casket Bearers were David Chrzanowski, Benjamin and Andrew Dziengel, Stephen Axline, Nathan Bercel, Trevor Christianson and Michael Kasprowicz. Interment was held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery with Gieseke Funeral Chapel of Greenbush in charge of arrangements.
    Marie Chrzanowski, was born Marie Theresa Kukowski, the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Stanislawski) Kukowski, on Aug. 9, 1920 in Barto Township, rural Greenbush. She attended District 13 Grade School at Leo; two years at Greenbush High School and two years at Mount St. Benedict in Crookston, where she graduated in 1939. Marie married John Frank Chrzanowski on July 12, 1950 at Leo. Marie worked at Polaris Industries in Roseau for several years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Greenbush.
She liked playing cards, word games, and puzzles. She especially enjoyed spending time with family.
    She is survived by three children: John “Jack” (Denise) Chrzanowski of Thief River Falls, Kathleen (Don) Munro of Elkhart, Indiana and Ann (Larry) Dziengel of Strandquist; nine grandchildren: Melissa Munro Axline, Jennifer Munro, Kristin Chrzanowski Bercel, Carrie Munro Buss, Julie Chrzanowski Christianson, David Chrzanowski, Benjamin Dziengel, Sarah Dziengel Novacek and Andrew Dziengel; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Betty Kukowski and Bernice Kukowski, both of Greenbush; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends; and a special friend Sing-Sing Pederson.
    She was preceded in death by her husband John; her parents; six brothers, John, Frank, Peter, Stanley, Al R. and Chester; and six sisters, Helen, Agnes, Frances, Sophie, Sr. Josephine, Berniece; and five siblings who died in infancy.
