Fargo, N.D. - Brian D. Lunde, “Grundy” – “Uncle Bubba,” 50, formerly of Roseau, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at his home in Fargo, N.D.
A celebration of life memorial service was held Monday, Oct. 8 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Thief River Falls.
Brian David Lunde was born on Aug. 13, 1962 in Roseau to Shirley (Ziska) Brawers and Dave Lunde. He attended school in Viking, Thief River Falls and Roseau, graduating in 1980. He also attended the Area Vocational Technical Institute in Thief River Falls.
He lived in Seattle, Wash., for many years, before moving to Valley City and Fargo, N.D. in 2008. He loved music and playing guitar with his friends and his uncle, Jerry. He worked at various places throughout his life and also played in two different bands.
Brian is survived by his mother, Shirley Brawders of Roseau; father Dave and Mary Lou Lunde of Thief River Falls; sister, Susanne Lunde of Fargo, N.D.; three stepsisters; one stepbrother; many aunts, uncles, cousins, stepnieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edmund and Clara Ziska, and Iver and Clara Lunde; stepfather, Darrell Brawders; uncle Jerome Johnson; cousin Mike Lofstedt; and stepsister, Desiree Mickelson. A00003B2012OT10
