    Thief River Falls - Marietta Jorgensen, 85, of Thief River Falls, died on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Eventide Senior Living in Moorhead.  
    Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, with Rev. Rob Kopp officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.
    Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
    Marietta Anna Havlik was born August 23, 1926 at Plummer, the daughter of Joseph Wencil and Mary Irene (Vacek) Havlik.  She attended Pershing High School at Plummer.
    On Oct. 18, 1944, Marietta was united in marriage to John C. Jorgensen Jr. She was a homemaker and in later years she did waitress work.
    Marietta was a member of United Methodist Church, Thief River Falls, the Eagles and VFW Auxiliaries of Thief River Falls. She enjoyed flowers, quilting, the church choir and volunteering at the Heritage Center, Thief River Falls.
    She is survived by five children: Carolyn (Roger) Seely, Sandstone, Marlene (Burton) Prichard, Poquoson, Va., Lorna (Daniel) Arel, Dilworth, Kristi (Kevin) Condon, West Fargo, N.D., and Lori (Tom) Eichenberger, Anthem, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren: Chad Seely, Tanya Brawner, Paul Seely, Philip Prichard, Alan Prichard, Michael Prichard, Rhianda Gregg, Jeff Arel, Becky Mathews and Ella Eichenberger; 14 great-grandchildren: Tyler, Michael and Joseph Seely, Blake and Skylar Brawner, Marissa Prichard, Alexander and Logan Prichard, Imogen and Amelia Gregg, Aubrey Arel, Meeka and Jocelyn Mathews.
    Marietta was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Laverne Fabricius; brother: Hubert Havlik; and two sisters and one brother in infancy.
