 Florian - Gertrude “Gertie” Gajeski, 70, of Florian, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D., surrounded by her loving family.Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, July 23 at Assumption Catholic Church in Florian. Interment was held at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Florian. She was born in Donaldson, to George and Cecelia Landerville. She grew up and attended school in Argyle. Gertrude was united in marriage to John Gajeski in 1961 in Argyle. They made their home in Florian. Gertrude enjoyed flowers, gardening, quilting, old country music, animals, collecting dolls, and fishing with her grandchildren. Left to mourn her passing are her children, Joe (Patty) Gajeski of East Grand Forks, Ray (Phyllis) Gajeski of Emerado, N.D., Deborah Martinson of Thief River Falls, Denise (Tunde) Famodu of Richfield and John Gajeski Jr. (Abby ) of Thief River Falls; six grandchildren, Amber, Casey, Andrew, Tyler Gajeski, Paige Martinson, and Olayinka Famodu; and brother, Larry Landreville of Thief River Falls. She was preceded in death by her Husband, John; parents, George and Cecelia Landerville; brother, Leo Landreville; and an infant daughter. A00003B2012JY25  |
