   , of Thief River Falls, died on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, N.D.
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, with Pastor Bert Foster officiating. Casket bearers include Patricia’s children. Honorary casket bearers inclkude Patricia’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.
    Patricia Carolene Walker was born on March 23, 1936 in Hartford, Mo., the daughter of George and Velma (Kimmel) Walker. She attended the Adair County RII School in Brashear, Mo.
    In 1952, at the age of 16, Patricia was united in marriage to John Kenneth Bradshaw in Iowa.  They made their home on a farm near Brashear, Mo. and to this union six children were born, Patricia, Marilyn, Mark, Mike, Larry and Randy.
    While the kids were growing, Patricia stayed home to raise the family while John worked out with the Postal Service and farmed. He passed away in 1979.
    Patricia enjoyed cooking, working with flowers, raising a big garden, playing the piano, singing – she even wrote a song she called “Cornbread, Butter & Beans.” The kids loved her home made biscuits and gravy, homemade noodles, and everything she cooked.
    She was very family oriented … Patricia dearly loved her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
    Patricia later married Joseph Andrew Bauer and the couple made their home in Red Lake Falls, and since 1992, Patricia has lived in Thief River Falls.
    Survivors include her children, Patricia Briggs of Thief River Falls, Marilyn Knudsen of Red Lake Falls, Mark Bradshaw of Kirksville, Mo., Mike (special friend, Nita) Bradshaw of Thief River Falls, Larry (companion, Marlene) Bradshaw of Thief River Falls, and Randy (Pam) Bradshaw of Red Lake Falls; longtime companion, Kenneth Berseth; grandchildren, Joel, Shaun, Alicia, Travis, Jonathon, Sarah, Leah, Christine and Kari; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Ryan, Ethan, Nathan, Abigayle and Alexandra; brothers, Berdean (Bernice) Walker of Greentop, Mo., and Ronny (Sherri) Walker of Columbia, Mo.; brother-in-law, Charlie Floyd of Brashear, Mo.; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Evelyha; sister, Darlene Floyd; brothers, Robert Walker, and Gary (Joyce) Walker; sons-in-law, Eddie Briggs and George Knudsen.
