    Thief River Falls - Carolyn Robidoux, 73, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids.
    Funeral services were held Friday, April 27 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thief River Falls, with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Casket bearers included “Grandsons,”   Daniel Gerber, Jeremy Grindeland, Michael Jorstad, Jacob Sourdif, Harley Sourdif, Joshua Figgins, Taylor Klopp and Christopher Klopp. Honorary casket bearers included “Granddaughters,”  Kelly Vanderstappen, Kimberly Gerber, Samantha Klopp and Leah Sourdif. Interment was held at St. Bernard’s Cemetery.  
    Carolyn Marie Schwenn was born Oct. 1, 1938 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Curtis and Marie (Moore) Schwenn. She received her education in Illinois and Salem, Wis., where the family moved from Chicago.
    She was united in marriage to Wayne Lake in Wilmot, Wis., and they resided in Silver Lake, Wis. She married Floyd Klopp, July 18, 1969 in Dubuque, Iowa.  The couple resided in Fond Du Lac, Wis., and Thief River Falls.  Carolyn married Robert Robidoux in Sisseton, S.D., and later remarried in St. Bernard’s Church, Thief River Falls.
    Carolyn was employed at Hanson’s Boarding Home, Carol’s Café, American Legion and Swede’s Bar and Grill in the later years. She held membership in the Eagles Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary as well as Northwest Medical Auxiliary. She enjoyed working with crafts, but mostly enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren.
    She is survived by six children, Pamela (David) Gyger, Wilmot, Wis., Sandra Sue (Kevin) Gerber, Silver Lake, Wis., Russell Lake, Eagle Bend, Wis., Christine (Lance) Figgins, Grand Rapids, Heidi Sourdif, Roseau, and William “Bill” (Wendy) Klopp, Thief River Falls;  daughter-in-law: Barbara Lake, Burlington, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia (Bob) Evans, Antioch, Ill.; sister-in-law, Marlene Schwenn, Westfield, Wis.; and brother-in-law, Richard Nelson, Camp Lake, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.
    Carolyn was preceded in death by husband Robert Robidoux, son Charles Lake, her parents, three brothers, James (in infancy), Gerald, and Curtis, one sister Joan Nelson.
