Argyle - Eunice Cole, 88, of Argyle, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls, with her daughter by her side.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, March, 29 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Argyle. Interment was held at St. Rose Cemetery, Argyle.
Eunice Aileen Brosdahl was born on July 5, 1923 in rural Warren, the daughter of Hans and Edna (Berg) Brosdahl. She was raised in rural Warren and graduated from Warren High School. On July 22, 1944, Eunice married Lloyd Cole in Argyle where they made their home. She worked outside the home helping several area farmers during potato harvest. Lloyd died on December 12, 1990.
She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.
Eunice loved to spend time with her family, work in her flower gardens, camping, reading and doing puzzles and crossword puzzles. She loved baking and was still making her family’s favorite treats for Christmas up until the time she moved to Thief River Falls.
Left to mourn her passing is her daughter, Marlene Omdahl of Thief River Falls; daughter-in-law, Sharlene Cole of Crookston; four grandchildren, Stacy (Garret), Shawn (Valerie), Matthew and Lindsey; five great-grandchildren, Brandi, Kirstyn, Logan, Payton and Emily; sister, Jean (Maurice) Knutson of Oslo, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd; son, Roger; brothers, Kenneth and Dale and nephew, David Brosdahl.
