Finalists
in the Thief River Falls Radio Million Dollar
Hole-in-One event lined up for their shot at the
first hole at the Thief River Golf Club on
Saturday. A gusting west wind made the 151-yard
shot to the pin a difficult shot. The winner of a
52-inch big screen television was Emery Wicklander,
whose shot stopped just two feet, two inches from
the hole.

Winners
of the Thief River Falls Radio Million Dollar
Hole-In-One event on Saturday, July 10 were from
left: Roy Lunde, fourth; Emery Wicklander, first;
Shane Peterson, second; Derek Gustafson, third; and
Tom Greelis Jr., fifth. Wicklander won a 52-inch
big-screen television with a shot that put his ball
two feet, two inches from the hole. Second went to
Peterson whose ball was three feet,
five-and-seven-eighths inches from the hole.
Gustafson won third with his ball stopping six
feet, six inches from the hole. Peterson and
Gustafson won new golf bags. Lunde's ball stopped
seven feet, 11 inches from the hole. Greelis' ball
stopped 10 feet one and seven-eighths inches from
the pin. A gusting west wind made the 151-yard shot
to the pin on the first hole at Thief River Golf
Club a very difficult shot.
